Primary research focus on Computer Vision and AI, particularly applied ML and research translation. Key achievement: leading and developing Master and Bachelor of AI courses at UTS, addressing critical gaps in AI education. As Course Director for both MAI and BAI, I have fostered an engaging learning environment, reflected in consistently high Student Feedback Scores and industry ready graduates.

Founded and co-lead the UTS Intelligent Drone Lab (iDL) under the Australian AI Institute (AAII). Industry collaboration led to 12 awards at state, national, and international levels, including SharkSpotter featured in 9000+ media articles.

Chair of the India/South Asia working group and a key contributor to the FEIT and UTS India engagement strategy, enhancing academic collaborations with leading Indian universities.
